Today's Inspiration

The focus for today's inspiration is:
I do all I can to help birth a new world.
As I sit in Altamonte Springs, FL watching news footage of the effects of Hurricane Nicole 50 miles away in New Smyrna Beach and Daytona Beach, FL, I am overwhelmed with the devastation on the coast, yet also in awe of the extreme power of Nature.
As I looked for inspiration for myself and to share with you, I read the following from the Afterword section of the book "Radical Regeneration: Sacred Activism and the Renewal of the World" by Andrew Harvey and Carolyn Baker:
"...dire though this time is, it is not a time for despair or cynicism or paralysis. Everything is at stake, but we still have a narrow window of time to make astonishing changes and to help birth a new world out of the ashes of the old. We must now concentrate all of our emotional, spiritual, and political energies on doing all that we can to feed, nourish, support, and expand the birth that is already here."
