GEMINI FULL MOON: November's Full Moon brightens the night skies this week, reaching perfection at 1:16 a.m. PST on Monday the 27th. At that time, the Moon will be at 04°51´ Gemini, opposite the Sun at the same degree of Sagittarius.

Gemini is the sign of the intellect, curiosity, and the rational mind's processes of learning, teaching, and communicating. Sagittarius represents what is beyond the gateways of concrete thought and our daily experiences; it asks us to consider the deeper meanings of life, to ponder what we believe and what we have faith in. A Gemini Full Moon thus requires that we access both logic and wisdom in equal measure, that we respect both what we can know with our minds and what we can perceive from the level of our Soul.

MUTABLE T-SQUARE: At the time of the lunation, a configuration called a T-square will be activated, involving the Moon in Gemini; the Sun, Mars, and Ceres in Sagittarius; and Saturn in Pisces. To visualize this, imagine a large letter "T" in the sky, with the Moon at one end of the crossbar, the Sun/Mars/Ceres at the other end, and Saturn at the base of the stem.

A T-square represents a buildup of pressure that is looking for a release point. Under its influence, people may act irrationally or impulsively. With the planets of this T-square being in mutable signs, there is extra stress on our nervous systems and mental state, perhaps due to our attention being drawn in too many directions or because of problems with indecisiveness.

Saturn's position at the apex of the configuration tells us that self-discipline and discernment are vital assets to help us move successfully through any challenges that we may encounter with this Full Moon. Saturn is teaching us to focus our minds but also to draw upon faith and optimism to deal with any concerns that arise. The T-square also requires that we reclaim our inner spiritual authority, moving beyond narrowmindedness, avoidance, and cynicism.

DAILY ASPECTS: Here are my brief interpretations of this week's most important planetary aspects:

Monday
Full Moon: The Gemini Moon is exactly opposite the Sagittarius Sun at 1:16 a.m. PST (0916 UT).
Saturn square Ceres: Responsibilities and obstacles may delay the fulfillment of personal needs today. Be aware of the tendency to fall into cynicism, depression, or a "what's the use" attitude due to feeling frustrated.
Mercury square Neptune: Thinking can be confused, conversations may lack direction, and attempts to communicate could lead us down dead end streets today. It may be hard to concentrate due to an overactive imagination. Idealism is strong but ungrounded, and logic is circuitous.

Tuesday
No major aspects are exact today.

Wednesday
Venus conjunct South Node: Old relationship patterns may resurface today. We might be aware of how they are manifesting in a current partnership or be reminded of the past by the reappearance of a former loved one, either in waking reality or in the dream state.
Sun quincunx Jupiter: We are tempted to take unwise risks with this aspect. It will be important to make a very honest assessment of our expectations and our capabilities.

Thursday
Venus quincunx Neptune: If our expectations of a relationship or of a loved one are overly idealistic, we may feel disillusioned or disappointed today. Issues that arise are likely related to concerns we became aware of yesterday, when Venus was exactly aligned with the Libra South Node.

Friday
Mercury enters Capricorn: Mercury dances in and out of Capricorn during the month of December. It enters the sign of the Seagoat on December 1, but goes retrograde on December 13, and then returns to Sagittarius on December 23. While Mercury is direct in Capricorn, communications tend to be more practical and goal-oriented. It is easier to separate our thoughts from our emotions, which can be either helpful or problematic. In general, our minds are realistic and serious, but we could be inclined to worry or pessimism.

Saturday
Mercury sextile Saturn: We have the mental discipline and focus to effectively manage whatever concerns may arise today.

Sunday
Venus square Pluto: Trust is a central theme in relationships today, especially if someone is inclined to be suspicious or jealous. An honest sharing of feelings could result in deeper intimacy in a healthy relationship, but may challenge the foundation of partnerships that require harmony at all costs.
Mars quincunx Jupiter: This influence increases a tendency to be angrily self-righteous or dogmatic. An attitude adjustment is required if we are to rise above the need to compete over who is "right" and who is "wrong."

IF YOUR BIRTHDAY IS THIS WEEK: The courage of your convictions is a strong motivator this year, Sagittarius. You can accomplish much by getting clear on what your values are, what you believe in, and what causes you want to support. You may be especially drawn to projects that call upon your nurturing qualities, such as those that support planet Earth's well-being or that advocate for children who have been displaced. However, be careful of overpromising or overextending yourself, which can result in your energy stores being depleted. Another challenge this year will be to maintain your strong beliefs without needing to compare yourself to others, to diminish others by judging their priorities and values as being "wrong" in some way.  (Solar Return Sun conjunct Mars, quincunx Jupiter, conjunct Ceres)
