InnerSelf's Daily Inspiration

July 20, 2023

The focus for today is:

I let go of worry so I can relish the moment and truly enjoy life.

Today's inspiration was written by Jude Bijou:

What happens? We tighten up and obsess about things out of our control or yet to come. Our minds and bodies spin. Consequently we lose sleep. We don't trust that we can handle what is presented. We fuel feelings of nervousness, and are preoccupied and scattered. We become distracted from fully experiencing the present moment and don't feel calm and relaxed.

Worry interferes with our ability to relish the moment and truly enjoy our lives.

Comment from Marie:
One of my favorite affirmations is "I am safe" and I use it whenever I feel worry about the future, near or far. And also for any health concerns... I am safe! It helps change the energy floating around in my brain and thus in my body.

Our focus for today: I let go of worry so I can relish the moment and truly enjoy life.
