InnerSelf's Daily Inspiration

February 1, 2024

The focus for today is:

I choose to reflect on what serves the greater good and what does not.

Today's inspiration was written by Phill Webster:

In attempting to connect with our Higher Self, we have no choice to but reflect on what serves the greater good and what does not. There’s nowhere to hide. You’re either in or you’re out.

But as brutally honest with yourself as you will be forced to be, you must also remember, to be kind to you. You may have made many mistakes in the past, but that is not who you are anymore. All you can do is acknowledge your mistakes, apologize for them if possible, seek to make amends if it is appropriate to do so, and at the end of the day, you have to live with you.

You know your own truth now, and you know that you are trying to be better. Learn to forgive yourself. You deserve it.

This is Marie T. Russell, co-publisher of InnerSelf.com, wishing you a day of choosing the greater good (today and every day)

Comment from Marie:
We all have an inner voice or guidance that tells us when something is loving or not. As much as we might have tried, in the past, to lie to ourselves about it, there is a part of us that knew that something we did was unloving, and not for the greater good. So, it's time we forgive our past mistakes and stop repeating them. Today is a new day, and we are a better person than we were yesterday, or at least we can be. So, let's take it from here.

Our focus for today: I choose to reflect on what serves the greater good and what does not.
