The subject of this quote is the theme of this week's edition of InnerSelf. What is within us affects the outside, and what is outside affects the inside.

This includes "non-tangible" or "non-touchable" things such as the sound of humming (Hum Your Way to Health and Well-Being), the language of flowers (Healing and Communicating Using The Language of Flowers), the energy of tattoos (Tattoos Through The Lens Of Consciousness), our inner beings (yes, plural) (How To Strengthen Your Inner Nurturer Voice), our energetic connection with others (Practicing The Art Of High-Quality Connections), and our habits (We Are Not The Helpless Slaves Of Our Habits). None of these are "physical things" per se, but their energy is powerful and affects our lives not only energetically, but physically as well.
