InnerSelf Newsletter: May 27th, 2018

Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.

This week we share some of the ways that our actions make a difference... from where we choose to place a tattoo (if we choose to get one), to identifying where our stressful thoughts come from and if they really belong to us, to connecting with where our traumas really come from and clearing them from our energetic space. We need to pay attention to where we've been and where we're going!

Eileen Workman gives an overview of the four turnings and gives an encouraging view on where we are headed, and also what we each need to do to get there. Listening to the media and to the people around us may lead us to think that we are "headed to hell in a hand-basket", however, we are still the ones in charge of guiding the direction we are going in. The horses may be a bit temperamental and a bit wild and hard to turn around, but if we join together with like-minded people and, as Pam Younghans states in this week astrological journal, "If this "shaking us out of our complacency" sounds somewhat familiar...we're starting to see a major theme develop for our times, confirmed by more than one astrological event."

So while we might have been complacent in the past and let others choose the direction of our "hand-basket", we are now saying "Now wait a minute! This is my life and my world, and you're not going to lead me to hell. I choose to create heaven on earth, and I know others agree with me, and we're going to take action and make things right."

It's time to change our focus from "reality shows" and pay attention instead to the reality show we are living in. I encourage you to find like-minded folks and take whatever action you can to make a difference and to turn this boat around. Some people may say it's too late, but as the song goes, "It Ain't Over 'til It's Over". The love we have for each other is real, and the more we focus on it and act on it, the better we can make our world... Goodbye complacency, and hello "We can do it!"

Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, and loving week.

Where Do Our Stressful Thoughts And Beliefs Come From?

Written by Barbara Berger

Where Do Our Stressful Thoughts And Beliefs Come From?

The moment we can ask ourselves “Does this thought have anything to do with reality?” “Is this thought true?” we are starting to wake up. This understanding breaks the bondage, which is our total identification with thoughts, and empowers us to wake up from the dream state.

Healing Past Lives and Attaining Closure

Healing Past Lives and Attaining Closure

Our past lives are intended to be in the background. We are not intended to be aware of them. If we are, they are likely unhealed, meaning that there is something about that lifetime that is creating restriction in your current body and life.

Turn, Turn Turn... The Fourth Turning and Where We Are Headed

Turn, Turn Turn... The Fourth Turning and Where We Are Headed

I understand why people  feel unsettled, confused, and even frightened by what they observe going on in our world today. Everywhere we look we see chaos and change, disruption and destruction. We see suffering and privation; we see inequality and constriction of opportunity. We see a positive future for ourselves only dimly, at best.
