Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.

One thing we have control over is our attitude. No one can impose that upon us. We choose our attitude, albeit sometimes unconsciously. Thus, a key to empowerment is to consciously choose our attitudes. When we find ourselves angry, or in a bad mood, we can examine the cause of our mood and make a different choice. Of course, it's not always easy, especially when we are enmeshed in current "reality", but it is possible.

This week we look at our attitude towards work and our personal life, our intentions and goals, our attitude towards aging, towards others, and much more. Focusing on the things we can control empowers us to create a better life for ourselves, which also affects the people around us. We are much more powerful than we have been led to believe. It's our mind, our thoughts, and our heart that can help us live a life that is supportive of our well-being and fulfilment.
