Overview: December 22 - 28, 2025
A NEW SEASON: Although 2026 is technically still several days away, there is a sense that we have already entered the corridor that will take us into the new calendar year. Our Sagittarius New Moon, which aligned with the Galactic Center on December 19/20, provided energies that are helping us to see and also to clear old patterns and outdated beliefs that no longer serve us.
The lunation also gifted us with a sense of the new directions and potentials that will then be open to us, once the decluttering is complete.
This week we continue to work with those galactic impulses, and thankfully do not have other major planetary events that will interfere with the integration process.
That being said, the Venus-Neptune square that perfects on Tuesday bears watching, since it represents some confusion or disillusionment in relationships, alliances, values, or financial matters. And, given the significance of the recent New Moon, we anticipate a buildup of energies over the next two weeks that will likely culminate in significant events at the Full Moon on January 3.

Here are my brief interpretations of this week's most important aspects, day by day:
Monday
Sun quincunx Eris: People may be irritable today, especially if their authority is being questioned or they feel that others are blocking their success. Disagreements over long-term goals require us to take others' needs into account.
Venus quincunx Uranus: Disruptions in relationships, alliances, and financial matters are possible, due to a need for greater freedom and autonomy. There could be a tendency to act impulsively in these areas.
Tuesday
Venus square Neptune: Our ability to see relationship or financial matters clearly may be compromised now. This could result in over-romanticizing a person or an investment, ultimately ending in disappointment or disillusionment.
Wednesday
Mercury semisquare Pluto: Differences of opinion can lead to arguments, particularly over moral or ethical matters. The mind is eager to get to the truth of a matter, even if doing so brings discomfort.
Venus enters Capricorn: Venus will be in practical Capricorn from December 24 to January 17. During this time, we tend to value stability and security and to approach partnership and financial matters very seriously. We are willing to work hard to achieve our long-term goals in these areas. However, an increased objectivity and realistic approach to relationships may be interpreted as a lack of romance or spontaneity.
Thursday
No major aspects are exact today.
Friday
Mercury sextile Pallas Athene: New and progressive ideas are more accessible now. This is a good day to brainstorm on potential solutions.
Saturday
Mercury quincunx Jupiter: An overexuberance about sharing our ideas and beliefs can result in lopsided conversations and could potentially cause defensive reactions in others.
Sun square Ceres: Family relationships could be strained if issues of authority arise, or if one person is feeling dominated by another.
Sunday
