3I/ATLAS: In July of this year, an astronomer reported the sighting of an “interstellar object” moving through the night sky. An interstellar object is different than a comet, which originates from somewhere within our solar system. Instead, these rare visitors come from interstellar space, beyond the boundaries of our sun’s gravitational domain. This new interloper, which was given the name 3I/Atlas, is only the third interstellar object recorded in modern times.
Scientists are a surprised by the physical characteristics of 3I/Atlas, which are highly unusual, even for an interstellar object. It is “extremely massive,” up to three miles (5 km) in length. It contains minerals that make it more complex than a comet, fueling the notion that it could be a manufactured object rather than a naturally occurring one. It is traveling at very high speeds, faster than any other known visitor to our solar system. 3I/Atlas also appears to have a very unusual tail, which at times seems to be extending in front of it rather than behind it, as would normally be expected.
Various intuitives and channels have used their metaphysical gifts to sense into what 3I/Atlas is, and what its meanings and purposes might be. Some view it energetically as a catalyst or a messenger—similar to a comet, but amplified in some way, or more specific in its intention. Others see it as an intelligent consciousness and a source of ancient wisdom that is available for us to access. Other resources call it a “frequency bridge” that will accelerate humanity’s evolutionary process by expanding our consciousness. Still others believe it is an actual spacecraft carrying intelligent lifeforms.
So, what, indeed, is 3I/Atlas? This is a question that doesn’t yet have—and may never have—a definitive answer that all will agree on. Metaphorically, some see it as a bird, some view it as a plane, and some believe it is Superman.
No matter what 3I/Atlas “really” is, its very existence represents something important for humanity. Through its physical characteristics, it contradicts our assumptions about what is possible. Its very existence stretches our imaginations and inspires us to seek truth in new ways. The object symbolizes something that is completely new and unknown, and perhaps undefineable from our current level of understanding and technological expertise.
In providing this puzzle for us to ponder, 3I/Atlas is opening our minds to even greater mysteries—and, no doubt, preparing us for more experiences in the future that will challenge our scientists as well as our own personal beliefs and expectations.
3I/Atlas is at perihelion this week, with its closest pass to our Sun on October 29-30. While the brightness of our central star makes the object less physically visible at this time, it is also shining a light on whatever the object represents metaphysically and emits energetically.
The interstellar object will be at its closest proximity to Earth on December 19. Synchronistically, this is also the day of a powerful New Moon in Sagittarius that is conjunct both Venus and Mars, closely square Saturn/Neptune, and tightly trine Chiron/Eris. With the Capricorn Solstice occurring just two days after the lunation, that third week of December is setting up to be an “interesting” and pivotal time.
DAILY ASPECTS THIS WEEK (October 27 - November 2, 2025):
Here are my brief interpretations of this week's most important aspects, day by day:
Monday
Mars quincunx Chiron, Mars trine Jupiter: Although we may deal with some personal insecurities or uncomfortable emotions today, our capacity for empathy is heightened. We are confident, courageous, and may be inspired to actively support a cause.
Tuesday
Mars quincunx Eris: Some may be easily irritated or even hostile today. It can be hard to be objective and to see an issue from another’s point of view.
Wednesday
Mercury trine Neptune: Intuitive insights come more easily and meditative experiences are supported today. The mind is open to spiritual or creative inspirations.
Mercury enters Sagittarius: While Mercury is in the sign of the Archer, from October 29 to November 18 (and again from December 11 to January 1), we seek to understand life’s greater meanings. The mind is philosophical and eager to learn. Being able to freely express our ideas and beliefs is a high priority. In the shadow, some could be self-righteous, overly opinionated, or dogmatic during this transit. All these possibilities are heightened around November 9, the day that Mercury stations retrograde.
Mars trine Saturn: We are able to harness our energies for practical purposes now. Discipline, patience, and endurance help us achieve our goals.
Mercury opposite Uranus: It could be hard to focus due to the mind being scattered or easily distracted. Nervous energy is heightened. As Uranus works to interrupt too-fixed mindsets, we are challenged to see an issue from an opposite perspective.
Thursday
Mercury sextile Pluto, Mercury opposite Sedna: Our minds are drawn to deeper subjects now. Conversations could be very profound, and hidden information may come to light.
Friday
No major aspects are exact today.
Saturday
Venus opposite Chiron: Some may be reactive today, especially if they have been ignoring or sublimating their true needs in order to please another or to keep the peace.
Sunday
Jupiter square Eris: We are highly aware of situations in which people have been ignored, abused, traumatized, or otherwise mistreated. Emotions run deep. Uncomfortable truths are revealed and controversies are stirred.
Sun sesquiquadrate Saturn: Obstacles or restrictions can delay progress. We could also be aware of underlying fears or insecurities that are interfering with our ability to achieve our goals.
Venus opposite Eris, square Jupiter: Conflicts can disrupt peaceful relationships. Some may be especially distrustful, defensive, or reactive. It can be hard not to take things personally.

If Your Birthday Is This Week (October 27 - November 2):
Themes of transformation and personal empowerment are highlighted this year. An old part of your identity is being dismantled so that a new “you” can be birthed. Along the way, you may encounter situations that appear to be outside of your control; as you navigate this challenge and any fear or anger that arises, you reclaim a strength that you have always had within you but that may have lain dormant until now. You are able to be very honest about your feelings, and will gain significant insights into your own motivations and deeper truth. (Solar Return Sun square Pluto, square Pallas Athene)
